Dimitris is Omilia’s CEO and a Founding Partner. He is an NLU technology visionary with passion for excellence and amassing more than 20 years of experience in Customer Care self-service solutions. He started his career with IBM UK back in 1997 contributing to IBM’s Voice product portfolio development and rollout in more than 70 countries. After Dimitris decided to move back to Greece and Cyprus, splitting his time between two in 2002, he founded Omilia literally out of his house garage with a mission to re-invent customer service. He is probably the most experienced professional in the applied speech and natural language processing industry today with more than 20 years, and 110 large scale projects in Conversational AI successfully in production across 17 countries world-wide.
Pelias is Omilia’s CFO and one of the founding partners. In 2002, together with Dimitris he established Omilia with a strong vision to become a worldwide leading provider of Natural Dialogue Interaction Solutions. With an engineering background, he started his professional career back in 1987 in the IT business at SYNPAN software where he specialized in ERP financial software and customer roll out implementations.
John, Omilia’s CCO & partner, is a seasoned Sales Executive with more than 20 years of experience in International Business Development. John has extensive experience in marketing Mobile and IT services in some of the most competitive B2B environments and has a proven track record of successfully starting new business in APAC, EMEA and LATAM for many listed mobile tech companies targeting Banks, Brands and MNOs.
Growth equity investor, providing capital and partnership to the founders of rapidly growing, founder-owned software companies across Europe. €10m – €25m minority investments. First and sole outside investor at BOARD (acquired by Nordic Capital, Feb 2019) and Softomotive (acquired by Microsoft, May 2020).
Tom is a partner and CFO at Grafton Capital, the European growth equity investor. Tom is a chartered accountant and has significant experience across a range of sectors and disciplines in corporate finance and private equity.
